Some light lamps while meditating on the impermanence of life just as the light of a flickering lamp goes out, while others light lamps to brighten their lives.

The villagers are very enthusiastic about setting up pandals and lanterns with great wealth and effort to illuminate the day when the light of that sublime Buddhism was given to us.

However, with the cooperation of the people of Mahenawatta village, RM Sinathunayake, a senior scout of the Minuwangoda President’s College Scout Troop, has organized the task of setting up lampposts on both sides of the road to seek light in the village.  Held on the 3rd of the month.
